Doublegate Homes is a company founded by Bob Haas in 1997. Mr. Haas is the Owner and Contractor for Doublegate Homes. He is the former Executive Director of Flint River Habitat for Humanity and a Florida State Certified Building Contractor. Haas has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics and, prior to Habitat for Humanity, had successfully built and developed hundreds of homes in Northeast Florida. Mr. Haas' grandfather enjoyed a career with the Army Corp of Engineers in the Savannah District and Haas' father is an architect and graduate of Georgia Tech. First and foremost, Bob Haas is a Christian and this is what led him to Albany in 1994 to build homes for families that were devastated by the flood from Tropical Storm Alberto. Mr. Haas gladly calls Albany his home and is dedicated to a tradition of quality home building in a professional environment.
